Abstract | A bronze medal awarded to Jeffery Amherst. The medal is dated 1789. The face of the medal contains a busts of King George II and Frederick, King of Prussia, facing each other. The reverse of the medal contains seven medallions with portraits, including British Prime Minister William Pitt in the center, surrounded by Prince Ferdinand, Prince Henry, the Duke of Brunswick, General Amherst, Colonel Clive, and Admiral Boscawen in clockwise order. The faces of the medal are extremely worn. |
