Abstract
Photographs of the 144th Commencement ceremony held on May 28, 1965. Photographed are students, faculty, and honorary degree awardees in academic regalia, the ceremony marshals, and members of the audience. The ceremony takes place in the Alumni Gymnasium and Athletic Complex Quadrangle. Also included are photographs of students in regalia in a locker room and photographs of honorary degree awardees and the College President posing for photographs indoors. Individuals photographed may include Calvin Hastings Plimpton, Mary Ingraham Bunting, Bill Liedtke, Rolfe Humphries, Frederick Scouller Allis, Jr., Jacqueline Lévy-Despas, John Rock, William Lucius Cary, Will Mercer Cook, Eustace Seligman, Louis Franklin Eaton, John F. Boyle, and Ernest Miller Whitcomb. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). The name of the photographer is unknown.
