Abstract
Photographs of the interior of the Pratt Museum of Natural History and of several students in a classroom looking at geological samples. Students are photographed taking notes, talking with one another, and examining the objects, in some cases with a microscope. The students may have been in a Geology or Geochemistry class. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). James U. Cryan Jr. was the College Photographer from October 1972-January 1975. In 2006, the collection in the Pratt Museum of Natural History were moved to the newly constructed Beneski Museum of Natural History.
